The volume of government bonds in circulation increased by 6.45% in January 2026

On 5 February 2026, an auction was held on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange trading platform for the placement of government treasury bills with a maturity of 12 months. The total amount placed was 150 million KGS.

According to the results of the auction, the weighted average yield on the issue of 12-month government treasury bills was 10.50% per annum.

According to the KSE, the volume of government securities in circulation for 12-month GTS in January 2026 showed growth. At the beginning of January, the volume was 2 billion 980 million 484 KGS, while at the end of the month it increased to 3 billion 172 million 795 KGS. Thus, the volume of GCBs in circulation grew by 6.45% in the first month of 2026.
