The volume of interbank trading for the week exceeded $33 million

From 21 to 25 July 2025, the total volume of transactions on the interbank currency market of Kyrgyzstan amounted to approximately $33.5 million. The highest activity was observed at the beginning of the week — on 21 July, the volume of transactions reached $12.1 million, while the lowest figure was recorded on 22 July — only $1.4 million.

The dollar exchange rate remained stable within a narrow range. On Monday and Tuesday, transactions were concluded at a rate of 87.4500 som per dollar, but a gradual decline began in the middle of the week. The closing rate on 23 July was 87.3000 som, at which level it remained until the end of the week.

Market participants note that fluctuations in trading volumes are associated with mixed demand for currency among commercial banks. At the same time, the exchange rate is stable amid moderate supply and the absence of sharp external factors that could change the dynamics.
