12/26/2024, 08:59From December 16 to 20, the total volume of trading on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange amounted to 10.34 million KGS. This is significantly lower than the previous week. Recall that from December 9 to 13, the trading volume reached 17.82 million KGS. Thus, the decrease amounted to almost 42%.
At the same time, the number of deals on the exchange increased, from 13 to 37, and the share of corporate bonds in the total volume of trades increased to 79.2% (from 60.5% the week before last).
On the primary market 33 deals were made in corporate bonds during the period from December 16 through December 20. Among the most significant transactions - five deals on placement of securities of “MFK ABN” for 2.38 million KGS and realization of a large package of bonds of “Kaindy-Kant”, within one deal, for 5.8 million KGS.
On the secondary market four deals were registered with total volume of KGS 2.16 mln. Most of the deals were in common shares of Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC (former MAM). Small deals were also made in shares of Kyrgyzneftegaz.
It should be noted that during the last week 100% of trades volume fell on securities of the listed companies.
