The volume of services provided by hotels and restaurants increased by 20.8% over the year

According to the National Statistical Committee, in January-November 2024, the volume of services provided by hotels and restaurants amounted to 41.7 billion KGS, which is 20.8% more than in the same period last year.

Of this amount, KGS 6.3 billion was provided by hotels and other short-term accommodation, 23% higher than in 2023. Restaurants, bars and mobile catering outlets increased the volume of services provided by 20.4%, reaching KGS 35.4 billion.

The growth is observed in all regions of the Republic, which emphasizes the sustainable development of the tourism and catering sector. This trend indicates an increase in domestic and inbound tourism, growing demand for public catering services, as well as positive changes in the economic activity of the country.
