The total volume of payments in the Kyrgyz Republic through payment systems reached KGS 28.7 trillion

The indicators of the national payment systems of Kyrgyzstan showed significant growth in 2024. In 11 months, the total volume of payments more than doubled, reflecting the development of the financial infrastructure of the country.

The volume of transactions through the Gross Settlement System grew by 133.1% to KGS 28.4 trillion against KGS 12.2 trillion in 2023. The number of transactions in this system increased by 43.5%, reaching 1.3 million.

In the clearing system, the volume of payments increased by 11.7% to KGS 342.6 billion. The number of transactions in this system increased by 3.9% to 9.1 million.

The total volume of payments through both systems in 2024 reached KGS 28.7 trillion, which is 130.1% more than in 2023 (12.5 trillion). The number of transactions increased by 7.7% to 10.5 million.
