01/30/2025, 09:39EEC Minister for Technical Regulation Valentin Tataritsky and Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Andrei Kuznetsov discussed the work of the system of electronic passports for transport and special equipment in the EEU.
The meeting was held at the EEC headquarters in Moscow. The main topic was the cooperation between the national operator of Belarus, OJSC “TsNIITU” and the Russian administrator of JSC “Electronic Passport. They also discussed data exchange, directories of machinery brands, the process of e-passport registration and the use of information from customs authorities.
The parties emphasized the importance of joint work for effective development of the e-passport system in the Union. The discussion was also attended by the General Directors of the companies “Electronic Passport” and “TsNIITU”. Earlier, on November 13, 2024, Belarus and Russia signed an agreement on the exchange of e-passport data.
