At the end of October, the Kyrgyz aviasetcor discussed the situation in the domestic air transport market, in particular, the granting of the ‘national’ status to Asman Airlines LLP.

This company is a subsidiary of the OJSC ‘Manas International Airport’, and obtaining the status of ‘national’ will allow it to compete with private carriers on equal terms.

In addition, it will allow Asman Airlines to independently develop its technical basis, acquire new aeroplanes and open new flights on domestic and international routes.

The discussion participants noted that the prices for air tickets on the Bishkek - Osh route range from 3,500 to 4,000 KGS.
