01/17/2025, 13:40In 2024, the demand for dairy products from Kyrgyzstan has increased significantly. According to the data, last year the total export volume was 33,374.7 tonnes of milk and dairy products, which is 3,164.5 tonnes more compared to 2023.
The main export items were butter (1,881.8 tonnes), ice cream (4,480.1 tonnes) and cheese (1,451.6 tonnes). Shoro (120.8 tonnes), kurush (3.3 tonnes), cream (660.8 tonnes), milk powder (1,212.4 tonnes) and pasteurised milk (124.0 tonnes) were also exported.
This growth was made possible by the increased demand for dairy products in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, which demonstrates the high quality of Kyrgyz products and the country's successful integration in foreign markets.
