10/08/2026, 15:22In January–September 2026, the State Accumulative Pension Fund (SAPF) generated 5.65 billion KGS in income from the investment of pension funds. During this period, the Social Fund invested 16.61 billion KGS.
Of this amount, 12.69 billion KGS were channelled into government securities yielding 12.86–16 per cent per annum, whilst a further 3.92 billion KGS were placed in deposits with commercial banks at 11.3–14.3 per cent per annum.
Government securities provided the main source of income – 4.9 billion KGS. A further 555.6 million KGS came from interest on deposits, 185.9 million KGS from share dividends and 14.3 million KGS from interest on daily balances.
