Talks between the Deputy Minister of Labour of Kyrgyzstan and a representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation

On January 16, 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev met with Andre Algermissen, Head of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's Regional Office for Central Asia, in Bishkek.
 

During the meeting they discussed topical issues of labour relations, employment and migration. Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev focused on the need to adapt the system of labour relations to the challenges caused by digitalisation and changes in the labour market, and stressed the importance of improving the competitiveness of specialists.
 

Andre Algermissen noted the importance of international cooperation in the field of labour relations and said that the Foundation implements more than 200 projects in 120 countries, including programmes on civic education. Both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen partnerships for the implementation of joint initiatives in the field of labour and employment.
