Preferential loans worth 2.85 million KGS have been issued for the development of seed production and nurseries

As part of the project, two financing entities in the republic have already received preferential loans totalling 2.85 million KGS.

With a view to further sustainable development of seed production and nurseries, as well as ensuring timely variety replacement and renewal, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic approved the project ‘Development of seed production and nurseries in the Kyrgyz Republic’ by its Decree of 26 May 2025. 

Ayyl Bank OJSC and Eldik Bank OJSC have been involved in the implementation of the project, with a total loan amount of 100 million KGS.

The programme aims to support domestic agricultural producers, develop the production base of seed production and nurseries, and improve the quality of seed material in the country.
