09/26/2024, 16:56On September 25, a meeting of the working group on customs declaration, chaired by Grigor Oganian, Deputy Director of the Department of Customs Legislation and Law Enforcement Practice, took place under the Consultative Committee on Customs Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Experts discussed issues related to amending the goods declaration, focusing on prioritizing electronic document exchange between the customs authority and foreign economic activity participants, while minimizing the use of paper-based documents. The working group on customs declaration, established in 2022, deals with issues concerning goods declaration. The procedure for making amendments (additions) to the information declared in the goods declaration was approved by Decision No. 289 of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on December 10, 2013.
