Kyrgyzstan's position in the world logistics ranking has fallen. 123rd place out of 139

According to the World Bank, Kyrgyzstan ranked 123rd out of 139 countries in the global Logistics Performance Index (LPI). This indicates serious problems in logistics that hinder the country's trade and economic growth.

In 2023, Kyrgyzstan's ranking was 2.3, compared to 2.55 in 2018. During this time, the country dropped from 108th to 123rd place.

The weakest results are in such key areas as customs performance, international transportation, cargo tracking and on-time delivery. All of these areas are critical to making trade fast and efficient.

Experts emphasize that to improve competitiveness and economic performance, Kyrgyzstan needs to seriously modernize its logistics infrastructure.
