The President signed a law transforming Gulcho into a city of regional significance

President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a law «On classifying the aiyl aiymak of Gulcho in the Alai district of the Osh region as a city of regional significance».

The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on 25 September 2025.

The law classifies the aiyl aimak of Gulcho in the Alai district of the Osh region as a city of regional significance and names it Gulcho, as well as approving the description of the city's boundaries.
