The president has ordered fines for quad bikes and off-road vehicles in the mountains and on pastures

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov has ordered fines and the possibility of confiscation for quad bikes and off-road vehicles that destroy mountain slopes and pastures. He wrote about this in a post on Facebook.

The head of state noted that in various regions of the country, there are increasingly frequent cases of vehicles trampling green meadows and creating new trails, destroying pastures. According to him, such vehicles are driven not only by tourists, but also by citizens themselves, including children.

Zaparov stressed that vehicles should only travel on roads, and that protecting green areas will be a task not only for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Natural Resources, but also for local authorities. ‘Let's pass on nature to future generations clean and intact,’ the president appealed to the country's residents.
