Kyrgyzstan’s industrial output rose by 11.2 per cent over seven months

Industrial output in Kyrgyzstan reached 525.3 billion KGS in January–July 2026. The physical volume index stood at 111.2 per cent compared with the same period last year, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

The greatest growth was recorded in the production of chemical products – a 2.9-fold increase – and refined petroleum products – a 1.8-fold increase. Output of transport vehicles rose by 41.8 per cent, wood and paper products and printing products by 37.5 per cent, and construction materials by 33.6 per cent. Mining output rose by 16.9 per cent, whilst pharmaceutical production increased by 13 per cent.

At the same time, construction output increased 1.6-fold, agricultural output by 6 per cent, and wholesale and retail trade by 4 per cent. Overall, Kyrgyzstan’s GDP for January–July stood at 1 trillion 172.7 billion KGS, an increase of 11.1 per cent compared with the same period in 2025.
