    The expenditures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and its departmental organisations for 2024 are estimated at 8 billion 993.4 million soms

    At the time of execution of the budget for 2024, the budget of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is 8 billion 733.6 million soms. Of these, budget funds totalled over 5 billion soms, special account funds totalled 2 billion 351.6 million soms, state investments totalled 769.8 million soms, and capital investments totalled 592.7 million soms.

    The budget increase was due to the transfer of forestry and republican specialised plant to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

    According to the results of the 10th month of this year, the execution of budget funds totalled 3 billion 939.8 million soms, special funds - 1 billion 691.8 million soms, state investments - 178.9 million soms, capital investments - 473.5 million soms. Of these, the expenditures of the Fund of State Material Reserves under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic this year are estimated at 4 billion 212.7 million soms. At the request of the State Material Reserves Fund, this year's budget is 2 billion 533.8 million soms. The increase in expenditures from the special account by 421.2 million KGS is due to the balance at the beginning of the year. Planned receipts of funds to the special account of the State Fund for Regulation of Financial Markets decreased by 2 billion 100 million soms. At the request of the State Material Reserves Fund as of 31 October 2024, the following funds were financed: budgetary funds in the amount of 451.9 million KGS, special funds in the amount of 1 billion 630 million KGS.  

    The special account for prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations is envisaged 200 million soms with an increase of 100 million soms.

    In the course of budget execution, the following resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers were adopted - provision of humanitarian aid in the amount of 40 million soms to Kazakhstan in connection with flooding, 30.4 million soms for emergency recovery works in Jalal-Abad and Issyk-Kul oblasts. As well as 102.9 million KGS for emergency recovery works in Issyk-Kul, Batken, Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts. At the end of the 10th month of 2024, 121.4 million KGS were financed.
