The National Bank’s expenditure on money production has risen 2.27-fold

The National Bank’s expenditure on the production of banknotes and coins has reached 886.24 million KGS. This is stated in the regulator’s financial report for 2025.

In addition, labour costs at the National Bank rose to 2.14 billion KGS, compared with 1.50 billion KGS a year earlier.

Administrative and other expenses, excluding salaries, amounted to 559.01 million KGS, which is slightly higher than the 2024 level.

The rise in costs reflects increased operational activity and the expansion of the regulator’s functions in the financial sector.
