10/25/2024, 11:24On 23 October 2024, Minister of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuriya Asylbekovna Kutnaeva held a series of working meetings with representatives of government agencies to discuss initiatives to improve the quality and accessibility of public services for citizens.
The main attention was paid to the following projects:
1.Pilot implementation of the service ‘Online Registration’ through the application ‘Tunduk’. Representatives of the Ministry, as well as the State Enterprise ‘Infocom’, GU ‘Tunduk’, Department of Population Registration and the State Agency for Land Resources, discussed technical and organisational issues of the pilot launch of the service, as well as the possibilities of its expansion to improve the convenience of citizens.
2. Online registration of newborns through a mobile application. Representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration, with teams from the Ministry of Digital Development, worked on the possibilities of implementing an online newborn registration service. Parents will be able to receive birth notifications, apply for a birth certificate and automatically receive the ‘Balaga Suyunchu’ allowance.
3. Automation of enrolment in schools and kindergartens. Discussions with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labour focused on improving and automating the process of children enrolling in educational institutions, which should facilitate planning and make the procedure more convenient for all parties.
Minister Kutnayeva emphasised the importance of these initiatives in the country's digitalisation strategy, aimed at improving the lives of citizens by making all public services available through mobile devices, without the need to visit government offices. The implementation of such programmes, she said, contributes to simplifying interaction with the state, increasing transparency and efficiency of its work. Nuriya Kutnaeva noted that the comfortable conditions for citizens' creation and accessibility of state services is a priority task. The outcome of the meetings was a common understanding of the need to accelerate the implementation of these digital initiatives to improve the convenience and quality of service to the population.
