12/25/2025, 08:40The Ministry of Energy held a meeting with delegates of the IV National Kurultai, during which appeals from the regions were accepted, including applications for the development of renewable energy sources.
The meeting took place at the Kyrgyz National Drama Theater with the participation of Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev, First Deputy Minister, Director General of the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan, and Deputy Director General of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan.
A total of 78 applications were received from delegates, a significant portion of which concerned the modernization of energy infrastructure — replacing worn-out overhead power lines, increasing the capacity of substations, and expanding gasification in the regions. At the same time, a separate block of applications was devoted to the construction of small hydroelectric power plants and the installation of solar panels. This indicates the growing interest of the regions in alternative and decentralized power generation.
Some of the requests were resolved directly during the meeting, while others were forwarded to relevant officials for detailed consideration.
Words of gratitude were also expressed during the event. A representative of the delegates, Kulatova, recalled that following the results of the Third National Kurultai, the Ministry of Energy responded promptly to a request for the construction of a substation in one of the regions.
As a reminder, the Fourth National Kurultai is being held on December 25-26 with the participation of Sadyr Zhaparov.
