    Price and tariff increases recorded across EAEU nations except Armenia

    In July 2025, consumer prices rose in all EAEU countries except Armenia, where they fell by 0.8%. In Kyrgyzstan, prices rose by 0.6% after a 0.1% decline in June. The main factor was a 1.3% increase in utility tariffs.

    Inflation was 0.2% in Belarus, 0.7% in Kazakhstan and 0.6% in Russia. At the same time, prices continued to fall overall in Armenia, although services rose by 0.6%. In annual terms, inflation reached 4.7% in Kyrgyzstan, 4.4% in Russia, and remained the highest in Kazakhstan at 7.7%.

    By commodity group, prices in Kyrgyzstan rose equally in July, by 0.6% in the food and non-food segments. In Russia, food prices fell by 0.6%, but services rose by 2.7%. In Kazakhstan, price increases affected all major product groups, including food (+8.4% year-on-year), non-food products (+5.3%) and services (+9.2%).
