05/14/2025, 09:43A visa-free regime between Uzbekistan and China will come into effect on 1 June. It will apply to short-term trips of up to 30 days; if necessary, a visa will be required to stay longer. The visa-free regime does not apply to work, study or media activities.
The document on the entry into force of the intergovernmental agreement between the two countries was signed in Chengdu on 1 December 2024. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
It is specified that if citizens need to stay for more than 30 days, they must obtain an entry visa in advance.
In addition, the agreement does not apply to visits to the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao.
