Since the beginning of the year, total assets of the banking sector have increased by 24.1%

As of 30 June 2025, there were 21 commercial banks and 304 branches of commercial banks operating in the country. This was reported by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since the beginning of the year, the total assets of the banking sector increased by 24.1% and amounted to 1 trillion 12 billion KGS.

The loan portfolio of the banking sector's clients, excluding loans provided by the FCO, grew by 22.4% to 416.9 billion KGS.

The volume of financing under Islamic principles increased by 50.2% and amounted to 13.6 billion KGS.

The total deposit base of the banking sector's customers, excluding FCO deposits, grew by 18.9% and amounted to 704.2 billion KGS.
