Since the beginning of the year gross output of agriculture grew by 106.1% - Akylbek Zhaparov

For 10 months of this year, gross output of agriculture grew by 106.1%, and processing industry - by 122%. This was stated by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, speaking at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.

“On a pilot basis, internal canals and water supply system of Tyup, Suzak and Kochkor districts will be transferred to the state balance. Previously, they were on the balance sheet of various associations,” he said.

Akylbek Zhaparov added that this year food security indicators have been achieved in six areas out of nine types of food products. By 2028, it is planned to ensure food security in eight out of nine main types of food products.
