Sadyr Zhaparov to make his first official visit to Egypt

On 4–5 November, Sadyr Zhaparov will pay the first official visit in the history of Kyrgyz-Egyptian relations to the Arab Republic of Egypt at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

This visit is the first official visit by a head of state to the African continent since independence.

This was announced by Sagyumbek Abdumutalip, head of the foreign policy department of the Presidential Administration.

‘During the visit, high-level talks are planned between Sadyr Zhaparov and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on topical issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as an exchange of views on the international and regional agenda,’ Sagynbek Abdumutalip said.

He added that as part of the official visit, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed in the fields of economics, agriculture, investment, energy, healthcare and other areas, which will lay the foundation for the further development of Kyrgyz-Egyptian relations.
