SAIMA TELECOM JSC Held Accountable for Breaching Kyrgyz Republic's Advertising Law

The Anti-Monopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic issued a ruling to impose a penalty on SAIMA TELECOM JSC under Part 2 of Article 404 of the Kyrgyz Republic Code of Offences.

The decision was based on the posting of inappropriate advertising on the company's official website, which failed to include information on the possibility of internet connection at specific locations under certain conditions. This ruling was challenged by the company in court.

However, the court of first instance upheld the service's decision. The fine was paid in full.
