10/03/2024, 10:55The first meeting of the Eurasian Regional Partnership (ERP) group was held in the village of Koy-Tash, where important organisational issues related to further activities and the development of cooperation within the partnership were discussed.
One of the key issues was the establishment of the term of office of the management committee, which will ensure stable management and effective work of the organisation for a long period. It was also approved the order of transferring the role of the chairman and vice-chairman of the EPP, starting with the chairmanship of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and then once a year transferring the chairmanship to the EAEU countries in alphabetical order.
In addition, the meeting discussed the need to form a unified Eurasian voice on sustainable development issues, which will allow the regions to coordinate efforts and develop a common position on topical global issues.
