11/07/2024, 08:41The Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan under the Ministry of Economy organised a business meeting with the supermarket chain ‘Olma’ representatives to discuss the range of Kyrgyz products' expansion in the Uzbek market.
Among the goods offered were natural honey, and pistachios, as well as products of Kyrgyz brands Belaya Reka, Crystal and Alaiku Organics.
Samples for tasting and familiarisation were presented during the meeting. Olma supermarket chain expressed interest in the products and requested detailed data on shelf life and prices of perishable goods. Representatives of the chain also expressed readiness to purchase Kyrgyz honey and drinking water. Additional research on shelf life and possibilities for extending shelf life will be required for dairy products.
Kyrgyz trade representative in Uzbekistan Almaz Temirbekov said the talks were constructive, opening prospects for long-term cooperation and strengthening the presence of Kyrgyz products in the Uzbek market.
‘Our products are characterised by high quality and naturalness, and we are happy to open new opportunities for Kyrgyz business,’ Temirbekov emphasised.
