03/06/2026, 18:00The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has imposed sanctions on payment organizations and currency exchange offices. Following inspections, a number of organizations in Bishkek have been held accountable for violating the law and regulatory acts.
Financial penalties have been imposed on payment organizations operating in the capital. One of the capital's payment organizations was fined 55,000 KGS.
The amount of penalties imposed on another organization was significantly higher: the total amount of fines imposed was 330,000 KGS. The sanctions were imposed due to violations of the requirements of the Kyrgyz Republic's legislation and the National Bank's regulatory acts.
The regulator also temporarily restricted the operation of the cash currency market. From March 6 to March 15, 2026, inclusive, the license of the exchange bureau of Nurbek Cash LLC was suspended.
