Switzerland pays the highest price per gram of Kyrgyz gold

The average price of exported gold rose from $75 to $107 per gram — Kyrgyzstan is selling the metal at a significantly higher price in 2025.

In January-September 2025, Kyrgyzstan exported 5.7 million grams of gold worth $615.5 million. The average price was 107.5 per gram, which is 43% higher than in the same period in 2024, when the average cost did not exceed $75.1.

Switzerland became the price leader in 2025, paying an average of $109.21 per gram. It is followed by:

  • Malaysia — $107.24 per gram;
  • Great Britain — $104.22 per gram;
  • Turkey — $98.28 per gram;

For comparison, in 2024, the price was significantly lower. At that time, the United Kingdom paid the most for Kyrgyz gold — $77.33 per gram, followed by:

  • China — $70.01 per gram;
  • Switzerland — $65.40 per gram;
  • UAE — $65.10 per gram.
