01/27/2026, 18:20The average price of a kilogram of meat in Kyrgyzstan is 680 KGS, which is lower than in countries including Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia. These figures were provided by Zhenaly Orozbayev, Chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
At a meeting of the ZhK Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship and Competition Development, Zhenaly Orozbayev, responding to questions from deputies, said that the price per kilogram of meat varies from country to country.
According to Orozbaev, despite the fact that the average salary in Uzbekistan is lower than in Kyrgyzstan, meat prices there are higher. In Kazakhstan, the situation is the opposite: the average salary exceeds 50,000 KGS, while in Kyrgyzstan it is about 45,000 KGS.
