Women and children first: Kyrgyz President reports on evacuation from Middle East countries

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic has published a statement on his Facebook page reporting on the evacuation of citizens from Middle East countries.

According to him, work is ongoing to return Kyrgyz citizens who are unable to leave on their own. Due to the ban on takeoffs and landings in the United Arab Emirates, an agreement has been reached with Oman to charter two flights to transport 300 people.

The head of state stressed that women and children will be evacuated through Oman first.

If permission is granted to fly from the UAE, all remaining citizens can be transported within one day.

The president called on citizens to remain calm and show restraint, assuring them that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure their safety.
