The National Bank has updated the official exchange rate of foreign currencies against the tenge for 4 October, which will remain valid throughout the weekend.

According to the updated data, the som strengthened against all currencies of major partner countries. The most significant gains were against the euro and the tenge. The European currency fell by 0.14% against the KGS, to 102.6541 KGS. The tenge lost 0.12%, falling to 0.1597 KGS.

The US dollar and the yuan were the least affected by currency changes, falling by only 0.01% to 87.4396 KGS and 12.2816 KGS, respectively.

The rouble fell by 0.04% to 1.0707 KGS.
