The KGS weakened against most currencies, most notably against the euro by 1.02%

On 29 January 2026, the official exchange rate of the US dollar was 87.4500 KGS, increasing by only 0.0011%.

The euro showed a noticeable increase of 1.02%, settling at 104.7782 KGS. The Russian rouble also rose in price by 0.13% to 1.1451 KGS, and the Chinese yuan added 0.15%, reaching 12.5907 KGS.

The Kazakh tenge was the only currency to show a decline, falling 0.34% to 0.1736 KGS.
