The average wage in Kyrgyzstan has exceeded 51,800 KGS

The average monthly nominal wage per employee in Kyrgyzstan, excluding small enterprises, for the period January–May 2026 stood at 51,888 KGS. Compared with the same period last year, the figure rose by 25.0%, according to the National Statistical Committee.

Taking inflation into account, real wages increased by 13.1%.

Growth in the average monthly gross wage was recorded across all sectors of economic activity. The most significant increase occurred in the arts, entertainment and recreation sector, where wages rose by 42.9%. In health and social care, growth stood at 38.2%; in education, 34.6%; and in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 34.4%.

High growth rates were also recorded in professional, scientific and technical activities (32.2%), water supply, waste treatment and recycling (28.3%), real estate activities (24.9%), financial intermediation and insurance (23.7%), construction (22.5%), and transport and storage of goods (20.0%).
