In Kyrgyzstan in 2025, an increase in prices and tariffs for goods and services was recorded: the consumer price index rose to 108.2% compared to 105% a year earlier.
The acceleration was particularly noticeable in the industrial sector, where producer prices rose to 125.3% (compared to 113.5% in 2024). The price rises affected virtually all sectors — from goods and services to transport and communications, where increases of 112.2–125.3% were also observed in certain segments. Following a period of slowing inflation in 2024, the trend reversed in 2025, and price pressure intensified once again, primarily from producers, which may subsequently be reflected in retail prices for the general public.
2024 appeared to be a period of price restraint — growth slowed. But by 2025, the trend had reversed: price rises became more widespread again, affecting not only goods but also services and the manufacturing sector.
In recent years, price trends in the country have been volatile: periods of acceleration have been followed by brief slowdowns. The gap between consumer prices and producer prices is particularly noticeable — the latter is rising faster.
