Tourism accounted for 3.9% of Kyrgyzstan's GDP in the first quarter of 2025

The Tourism Development and Support Fund, citing the National Statistics Committee, reports that gross value added in the tourism sector for the first quarter of this year amounted to 10.5 billion soms, equivalent to 3.9% of the country's GDP.

In the first quarter of this year, 3.2 billion soms were invested in tourism in Kyrgyzstan, with investments aimed at improving infrastructure and service quality.

Revenues from tourist transportation by all modes of transport amounted to 2.9 billion soms.
The turnover of retail trade related to tourism amounted to 6.6 billion soms. The turnover of catering establishments amounted to 1.3 billion soms. The volume of production contributing to the development of the tourism business amounted to 620 million soms.
