“NES Kyrgyzstan”'s annual loss nearly doubled

The net cumulative loss of OJSC “National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan” for 2025 totaled 9.68 billion KGS, compared to 5.3 billion KGS a year earlier. Meanwhile, the company’s assets grew from 75.7 billion to 82.3 billion KGS over the year.

According to the financial statements published in the newspaper “Erkin-Too,” the loss from ordinary operations in 2025 reached 9.57 billion KGS, compared to 5.31 billion KGS in 2024. The loss before taxes amounted to 9.04 billion KGS.

At the same time, operating income reached 2.1 billion KGS, whereas in 2024 the company reported an operating loss of 2 billion KGS.

The consolidated financial statements were audited by Baker Tilly Bishkek LLC. The auditors issued a qualified opinion.
