11/24/2024, 14:10In Kyrgyzstan, prunes grow on 2,325 hectares of land. It is mainly distributed in Aksy, Ala-Buka districts of Jalal-Abad and Bakai-Ata district of Talas.
Most exports go to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. A total of 3 thousand 875 tons of uncooked (raw) products were exported in 2024. At the same time, work on drying prunes for further export is being actively carried out.
Prunes are rich in vitamins necessary for the body. It contains such vitamins as iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese. It also stimulates the gastrointestinal tract and cardiovascular system.
