In 2025, the village of Novopokrovka was fully connected to the gas network

In 2025, the village of Novopokrovka, with a population of 5,982, was fully connected to the gas supply. This was reported at a meeting of the Ministry of Energy following the results of the activities of subordinate energy companies and institutions over the past year.

Since the beginning of 2025, more than 100 kilometres of gas pipelines have been built, and 20,000 subscribers have been connected to the gas distribution system.

In addition, design and research work is currently underway to provide gas to five residential areas in 2026: over the 12 months of 2025, natural gas sales amounted to 520 million cubic metres, and over the 12 months of 2024, 517 million cubic metres, which represents an increase of 3 million cubic metres.

The estimated volume of natural gas supplies for 2026 is 580 million cubic metres. As part of the Pre-Financing 3 project, 155 households were granted loans totalling 19.29 million KGS.
