Illegal fishing was taking place in the Ak-Sui Gorge. The offenders were fined

In the Ak-Sui Gorge, employees of the Chui Regional Administration conducted raids aimed at identifying poaching and violations of environmental legislation in the Moscow District.

During the inspection, cases of illegal fishing were identified. The violators were brought to justice: three reports were drawn up under Article 266 of the Kyrgyz Republic Code of Offences, and fines totalling 3,000 soms were imposed.

In addition, the department's employees carried out preventive work with residents and holidaymakers, explaining the consequences of poaching and emphasising the need to treat nature with care.

The Chui Regional Department reminds that such raids will continue and are aimed at protecting the region's biodiversity.
