05/22/2025, 16:53Police officers in the Alamudun district are conducting preventive measures to identify migrant workers. This was reported by the press service of the Chui Region Internal Affairs Directorate.
During the preventive measures, officers from the Alamudun District Internal Affairs Department's service for combating extremism and illegal migration identified foreign citizens who were working illegally in the district.The inspection found that 17 foreign citizens were working without the appropriate permits.
Measures were taken against these individuals in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The total amount of administrative fines imposed was 220,000 KGS. Employees of the district's Special Police Unit held a preventive talk with the foreigners about compliance with migration rules and labour legislation in Kyrgyzstan.
They also explained that staying and working without the proper documents is against the law and may result in administrative or, as in this case, criminal liability, including deportation.
