In the At-Bashinsky district, beef is sold at a price not exceeding 670 KGS

In the At-Bashinsky district, beef (excluding offal) is sold at a price not exceeding 670 KGS. Compliance with this price is constantly monitored by the district agricultural development administration and other relevant state bodies.

During monitoring, it was found that beef, yak and horse meat are priced at 670 KGS, and mutton at 680 KGS.

The Ministry of Water and Agriculture reminds that the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, Bakyt Torobaev, has given specific instructions to the Veterinary Service, the Department of Livestock Development, pastures and fodder, as well as district agricultural development administrations to exercise constant control over meat prices in the regions (districts and cities). In the event of an unjustified increase in prices after the introduction of state control, appropriate measures must be taken in a timely manner.

On 11 August, state control over meat prices was introduced in the country for a period of 90 days. This decision was taken to prevent unjustified price increases and ensure the availability of products for the population.

In this regard, Bakyt Torobaev instructed the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce to monitor retail meat prices. According to the instruction, the price of meat should be below 700 KGS.
