08/06/2025, 13:44A municipal livestock market has been launched in the town of Razzakov in the Batken region. It is located on plot No. 781 in the Top-Terek district and covers an area of 60,000 square meters, of which 14,500 square meters have been built up.
The total cost of the project is more than 50.5 million KGS, of which almost 26 million KGS have already been spent on the first and second stages of construction.
The market is designed to accommodate 1,000 head of cattle, 100 horses and 5,000 head of small livestock.
The market is currently operating and generates income of between 70,000 and 150,000 KGS per week.
Plans for 2025 include asphalting the territory and constructing a special isolation ward for sick animals.
The launch of the livestock market has improved veterinary, trade, and sanitary conditions in the city of Razzakov and created a new source of income for local residents.
