Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev noted that the company had previously been given time to dismantle the structure on its own, but no measures had been taken on its part.
“If the company does not remove the dismantled structures within a day, they will be sent to the impound lot of the Land Use Control Department”, —the head of the capital emphasized.
In addition, the mayor instructed the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and
Architecture to prepare an updated design for the fountain structure. The task is to modernize the facility and submit a sketch for its prompt restoration as soon as possible.
The dismantling work is being carried out by employees of the municipal enterprise “Tazaly” in conjunction with the Land Use Control Department. City service managers have been instructed to ensure the safety of employees during the work.
Earlier, on February 19, Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev, together with members of the urban planning council, inspected the construction work on the section of Chui Avenue and set the task that if the company does not begin dismantling within three days, city services will be involved in the work.
