Issues related to the development of centralised heat supply systems were discussed in Bishkek

A meeting between the mayor of Bishkek and a delegation from the Korea District Heating Corporation, led by CEO Jeong Yeon-ki, took place in the capital's municipal council chamber.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, including the development of district heating systems.

A memorandum of understanding between the Department of Fuel and Energy and the corporation was also signed during the meeting.

The memorandum will be implemented in six areas, including the development of a strategic plan for the modernisation of the heating system using high technologies, the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, and the development of a tariff plan policy.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their gratitude for the visit to Bishkek and for the constructive dialogue, and expressed their hope for further fruitful cooperation.
