05/14/2025, 14:54Today, 13 May 2025, Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev made a morning trip to familiarise himself with the progress of construction of major facilities.
The first stop was the small arena named after Dolon Omurzakov. The stadium is designed to accommodate 5,000 spectators. The total area is 15,452 square metres. The building has two floors and a basement level with parking for 50 cars.
The arena is intended not only for sporting events but also for various cultural events.
The installation of metal structures has now been completed. Work is underway to install sandwich panels and lay internal electrical networks.
Next, the progress of construction of the Alga multifunctional sports complex was checked.
The total area of the territory is 7.4 hectares. The project includes a 3,000-seat football stadium, two training fields and sports grounds, a three-storey hotel with 142 rooms, and a fitness and recreation complex.
Currently, the main construction work on the FIFA-4 football field, training grounds, parking lot and lighting system has been completed.
The relevant services have been given a number of instructions to ensure the high-quality and timely completion of the work.
The mayor also familiarised himself with the start of construction of an underground passage equipped with escalators, modern lifts, service facilities and an underground car park for more than 220 cars.
Construction work is currently underway.
