Almost twice as many private houses were completed in Bishkek than a year earlier

In January–July, 855 individual residential buildings with a total area of 161,500 square metres were commissioned in Bishkek, which is 1.7 times higher than in the same period in 2024.

The estimated cost of construction was 7.03 billion KGS. At the same time, the average actual price of construction per square metre of individual housing reached 72,675 KGS.

According to official statistics, the total amount of housing commissioned in the capital was 279,900 square metres, which is almost three times higher than the level in January–July 2024 (94,000 square metres).

More than half of all housing commissioned was in the Leninsky district of the capital. The leader in terms of growth was the Oktyabrsky district, where the indicator increased 3.6 times. The Sverdlovsky district showed the lowest result, but even there, growth was almost twofold.

Dynamics by district of Bishkek:

  • Leninsky district — 141,000 square metres (3-fold growth, 50.4% share);
  • Oktyabrsky district — 63,600 square metres (3.6-fold growth, 22.7% share);
  • Pervomaisky District — 46,600 square metres (3.1 times increase, 16.6% share);
  • Sverdlovsky District — 28,700 square metres (1.9 times increase, 10.2% share).

Overall, Bishkek accounted for 39.3% of all housing commissioned in the republic.
