In Bishkek, the heads of five MTUs were dismissed, and district heads received reprimands

On the instructions of the head of the capital, a working group was set up to analyse the work of each MTU. The results revealed a number of shortcomings in the immediate vicinity of the administrative office, as well as significant violations of legislation, functional responsibilities, and compliance with beautification and sanitary standards.

«If you were unable to bring order to the adjacent territory during your time in office, how did you intend to bring order to the district?», — asked the head of the capital.

As a result, the akims of four districts of the capital and their deputies received disciplinary penalties for inadequate control.

The heads of MTUs No. 3, No. 8, No. 18, No. 19, and Novopavlovka were dismissed from their posts, and the remaining MTU managers were rotated, taking into account their probationary period.

In addition, an analysis of the activities of municipal territorial administrations revealed that most MTUs did not draw up a single report for 2025, despite the possibility of drawing up reports on 18 points in accordance with the Kyrgyz Republic's Code of Offences.

In turn, over a period of five months, the Municipal Inspectorate drew up 4,236 reports amounting to 35,143,500 soms, while the Land Use Control Department drew up 1,289 reports amounting to 36,272,000 soms.
