Embezzlement uncovered in construction and repair of social facilities in Chatkal district

The Chatkal District Prosecutor's Office has uncovered evidence of abuse of official authority in the implementation of construction and repair projects for social facilities in the Kanyush-Kyinsky and Terek-Saisky ayakh districts.

The inspection revealed that contractors received budget funds for work that was not performed or was performed poorly. The total damage to the state exceeded KGS 5.8 million.

For example, during the construction of a mini-football field in the village of Kanyush-Kya, an additional KGS 1.7 million was transferred for uncompleted work.

During the construction of the Usupbek Uulu School in the village of Ak-Tash and a sports complex in the village of Kanyush-Kya, the damage to the republican budget amounted to 1.2 million KGS. And during the repair of the Ai-Balam kindergarten in the village of Sumsar, the local budget lost 2.9 million KGS.

Based on these facts, the prosecutor's office initiated four criminal cases, which were referred to the investigative authorities for further investigation.
